There no longer is true separation of Church and State in the USA. This is because pastors voluntarily brought their churches under the authority of the State by asking to become State corporations.

They do this because they believe it legitimizes their local church, and because they believe they receive certain “benefits” from the State for incorporating.

All the Christians had to do in the Roman Empire to escape persecution was to acknowledge Caesar as lord. Once they did this simple, yet blasphemous act, they could worship Christ in whatever way they wanted, persecution free.

501(c)3 incorporation of the Church in America is the equivalent of Emperor worship in Ancient Rome. There is no difference between paying homage to Caesar and filling out the paperwork requesting the State to make the local church into a corporation of the State. The result is the same - the State becomes the head of the church and the church must conform the structure of her organization to the State’s mandates. This is embodied in your church’s bylaws and articles of incorporation. It is also found in the unbiblical Trustees.

God cannot and will not bless a church that has compromised on this most basic and fundamental matter. Unless and until the American Church repents of this sin, she will remain anemic, irrelevant, and impotent. And her shepherds will continue to act as hirelings, and boot lickers of the State.
