An Open Rebuke to “Alexander”
Alexander the coppersmith did me great harm; the Lord will repay him according to his deeds. 2 Timothy 4:14
Dear “Alexander,”
You did me great harm, more than you can ever know. I am responsible for the sinful behavior I committed in the past, and I have sincerely repented and trusted in Christ for my full pardon. However, the sins of which I speak are not the sins you accused me of, nor are they of the wrong I am accused of now. You have chosen to believe lies about me, and you continue to live in deception by aiding and abetting the one who is speaking pernicious lies about me in the present.
You have an opportunity to bring peace, love, and healing, yet, like Wormtongue, you speak more lies in the ears of another who has turned against me. Both of you know the accusations against me are false and come from the pit of hell.
As it says in 2 Timothy 4:14, “the Lord will repay you for your deeds.” You have time to repent of your sin, but your time is growing short. You are seeking peace in false religions, but these gods cannot and will not save you on that day when you stand “naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.” (Hebrews 4:13)
You cursed me in the past, but unless you repent, your curse will turn back on you. And what “you meant for evil against me," you will see, "God meant for good.” (Genesis 50:20)
I speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), and my wounds are faithful (Proverbs 27:6), not like your deceitful “kisses.” Our only hope is in the shed blood of Jesus Christ and no other. “Alexander,” I call upon you to heed this warning, repent, and turn to Christ. Become an agent of true blessing and healing before it’s too late.
In Christ,
“Paul”
